HackTheon 2025: Securing Our Spot in the Finals!

We are excited to share that UVT-CTF formed a team of 4 members and participated in the prestigious HackTheon 2025 competition!

After an intense and challenging CTF, we are proud to announce that we finished in an incredible 2nd place, scoring 10,300 points.

Not only that, but we were also the only European team to make it into the Top 10, proudly representing UVT, Romania, and Europe at the upcoming finals!

Our hard work, late-night practice sessions, and passion for cybersecurity truly paid off. This outstanding performance has qualified us for the HackTheon 2025 Finals, which will take place on July 10th in Sejong, South Korea.

We can’t wait to represent our university and test our skills against some of the best teams from around the world!
