About the Event
UniVsThreats CTF is an engaging cybersecurity competition organized by the West University of Timișoara (UVT), proudly entering its second edition!
Tailored specifically for university students and high schoolers, this competition is your chance to dive into real-world challenges, sharpen your skills, and compete with like-minded peers in a thrilling environment.
This year’s edition is hybrid – join us on-site in Timișoara, or online from anywhere!

🛠 Rules & Guidelines
- Teams of up to 3 members
- If your team has at least one student, it will be considered a university team, not a high school one
- Only students and high schoolers are eligible for the main top 3 prizes
- All participants can compete for the top overall team prize
- Fair play is mandatory — no cheating, sharing flags, or using automated tools
